The Concept
Rileys Sports Bars are a UK wide network of clubs specialising in offering customers Snooker, English Pool and American Pool. The website has two aims. First - to allow customers to lookup information about Rileys and their individual venues, including such features as 'Find my local club'. And second - allowing customers to book and pay for table time, plus pre-order food and drink, directly from the website.
The Technology
The website is built using PHP, MySQL and Zend Framework 2. It makes use of a bespoke Content Management System to allow non-technical users to manage the system, whilst tightly integrating into Rileys’ existing booking and till systems via a SOAP API. The site also uses a number of 3rd party APIs – including Facebook Connect and the Sage Pay Payment Gateway.
